Saturday's Egg, part six: Painted, gilded, touched up, antiqued, finished, touched up, waxed, DONE.
antiqued (as if there were another option in this case..) 3 coats of
finish, an INSANE number of touchups at every stage, and waxed.
This egg will wind up at auction, with proceeds to go towards the vet bill
of Saturday, wombat527 and onceupon's cat.

Im finding I dont care for the photos of it. I think they're expanding the scale too much. In person it's much nicer looking and the scale is much more manageable (it's a chicken egg.)

I should finish with that gold egg today also, and then go back to work on creating that black one again.
