Car boot

Took the dog out in the car today. When I opened the boot he just lay there with his head lolling out over the bumper. Someone actually came up and asked if he was OK. I explained that it's just that he's a lazy hound and wouldn't move unless he had to!

The guy who came over and asked if he was OK was amazed how quickly he jumped up when it was time to go. From looking half dead to raring to go in a fraction of a second.

They're such total comedy animals. I lived with rescued lurchers who'd clearly worked & had an alarming kill rate if left unmuzzled, but I'd have an unkeen one in a heartbeat, just for the laughs. :)
