,at long long last
Welcome back to the land of the two wheeled king. Now, if you could just find a river.... ;)
540air - well maybe next weekend I manage to get as far as the canal, which ok isn't tidal, but it is at least water, and if the wind gets up it can look like it has waves.
bring your bike down here, we have no hills in Pembrokeshire!
fantastic news and I love that shot
Colour me delighted. Just in time for the really lovely weather, too!
Sure does feel great! If the weather aint too bad tomorrow (by which I mean too hot!!) will try a tad longer distance, which will have to include a hill.
But just been for physio, so I will have to see if I get a reaction first. Oh it did hurt
And Happy Birthday too!
Thank goodness you're allowed back on the bike now the weather's decent. It's been a long old time coming.
Hildegard - my physio told me to just stick to the static bike with no tension on it! I do have one in my office but the scenery isn't very interesting. So I took it steady and avoided hills (tricky in Yorkshire). I will build up gradually and carefully, but it felt so good to be out on those wheels again
If your physio's ok with it, I got a lot of benefit from those keep-fit classes they do in swimming pools - have had to rehab a wide spectrum of lower-limb trauma. ;)
Oh, have I missed your birthday ?, I do apologise, I would have posted a naked Sprocket on a bike doing a wheelie (in the best tradition of Moblog) but I somehow failed to register the day ..... :(
So Happy Belated Birthday ...
Really good to see you are getting bike mobile, onwards and upwards :)
