There have been 'retired' greyhounds in my dog neighbourhood for ages, actually a few generations...I love them, such gentle elegant animals.
but part of me wants to get a rabbit thing going around the block. more than the greyhounds would like it.
and tall women are the future...go tim.
They look very sweet together, and somewhat impatient at having to pose.
Twiglet, yes she is.
swamprose, the rabbit thing would be interesting. They're gentle and elegant until they see a rabbit - or a cat...
He didn't try to get amorous with Bonnie. In fact, he was more interested in getting friendly with another male greyhound.
Caine, you're absolutely right. I had a real problem trying to get them to both stand still for a minute.
Oh she's a looker. Very handsome couple...
They often don't seem to get it that other dogs are dogs, but really do seem to like each others' company. Does he do all that bouncing & bowing & round other greyhounds? Very cute & silly.
Recall the first greyhound charity event the lurchers' owners went to - they came back with beautifully smart, handtooled leather hound collars & matching leads.
Took the dogs mere days to eat each others collars off & reduce to them roughage...
He does get very excited around other greyhounds.
Tim is pretty good at chewing through things, too. He got through two leather leads before we got him a metal chain one.
