Green Teazels and Moon Daisies

I looked at another source for a language of flowers meaning for teazels and found *misanthropy*.

I found several meanings for daisies but for wild daisies, as these are I found *I will think of it*. I like that! Maybe because I think of it most of the time especially in the hot weather. Perhaps I am solar powered......

Fascinating to see the teasels in their green state. I feilt the same when I found some immature pine cones earlier in the year.

Incredible to think that they will mature and harden to a state where they were used for teasing out the wool before it was woven in the "olden days".

Yes - so I was told as a child - and also as well as carding the wool, they were used to raise the "nap" on the fabric I think.
