In a wide sense of the word, yes. Did some voluntary/charity work out in Romania for 12 days as well as some sight seeing. Very sorry state of affairs and makes you appreciate what we have.

Materials for a well equated to about £80, which if we're honest isn't a great amount, but for them completely changes their lives.

The friends I went with are going back out in October, I can't myself but am hoping to go back in Easter 2010.

Generally, yes, although this time round we added around £250 each onto the cost of the trip which was spent doing the works. The good thing was actually buying the materials and seeing the real differences being made there and then.

My trip wasn't officially affiliated with them, but we went with contacts made through a charity called ICCUK.

If I get a place in the London Marathon (not likely, but maybe) this year I'll be running for ICCUK more likely than not.
