Joker, if you're into gadgety things it's wonderful. Only cost me £100 on Ebay and you can buy them new for £150. It won't suit everyone, though. Best to do some research on it before buying.
But it only connects to the net via your phone though???? Is this right?

Paul, yes that's right. It uses wifi at home but you need to connect via a mobile phone if there's no wifi. It's more like a hand held computer than a phone. It's very easy to connect via a phone though. There's a wizard that guides you through it. And once set up it seamlessly connects to either wifi or phone depending on what's available. I don't have to initiate a connection all the time like I do with the Eee. You do need to make sure your phone has a modem though and an unlimited data plan does help. :)
I am hoping that the Eee may come my way now if it becomes "surplus to requirements"!!!
It may well do - but you are welcome to use it anyway, of course.
