If I'm in the right country I'll take you on next year - in aid of Cyclists Fighting Cancer http://www.cyclistsfc.org.uk/
It'll have to be after August though because I have too much scheduled before then :)
Simply awesome. Well done both of you!
I'd have loved to have joined in or been there to greet you at the finish line, but we were so much further north that day.
Thanks guys, it really was a great experience to do teh ride and to finish so far ahead of where we expected. I did manage a tiny wheelie as I jumped towards the finish line, but a small part of me wishes I could've changed bikes for the finish just to cross the line in style :)
As for the hobo story, I can't wait to hear about the trip back and to see how much more dirt kj has acquired since Sunday, the guy is fantastic!! (if a little nuts ;D)
3hrs14mins? Oh, just down the road then, did you remember to get the bread & a pint of milk while you were there?
:-)
Well done you mad fool, and Hobo too, looking forward to hearing that story!
Got the milk, bread, paper and bacon ;)
Cheers dude, it was fun. Maybe you might like to try it?
Hey, let me put this statement out there right now: If Geo and the mister do it next year on the tandem, I will join in the fun too. Moblog teeeeem!
I just think it would be great to take part and it's a good cause to train for.
If Nige does it (and therefore mr & mrs Geo) then I'm in.
(trouble)
well if my leg gets better (and it is an if not a when) I wouldn't mind giving it a go..............Just how far is it again?
