I know where some real ones are.

what is the problem with gardeners that they need to put such really weird and unusual things in their gardens?

beth says:

yep, real ones would be better - you wouldn't want them in your garden though?

Couldn't live with them of course, but have rather warmed to the odd things people put in their gardens. On the one hand, how incongrous can they be when we accept without a qualm the Greek temples parachuted into the Cotswolds by Capability Brown et al? On the other hand, even gnomes & plastic flamingos now somehow put me in mind of Derek Jarman's garden... These I could definitely see among the Dungeness pebbles & I'm saying that like it's a good thing - the man knew how to dress a set. :)

I've no idea what I'd have in my garden if i had one, I guess plants might have a fighting chance with me if they were outside though. I probably wouldn't put something like this in it though but..

I think they just cheer me up in general

You know they weren't that bright when they left the camera, Caine. :)

B - Random agaric, I like it. Can see how it might cheer a person of a morning.
