They are HDR's StillLife; three identical images, over, under & normally exposed then combined in a program called photomatix to produce a single image with a High Dynamic Range (HDR), ie; detail in the darkest shadows as well as in the brightest highlights.
Then the image is "tone-mapped" to produce the effect you see here.
This subject/location lends itself perfectly to the HDR technique and Dancing Dan has don a superb job.

thanx a lot for all your comments. JokerXL is right. Picture 3-6 are HDR's. I use a canon 450 with a 10-22 lens.
