Finally the wind eased off enough to let me set a half decent time for my homeward ride.
It was still a bit blowy, but only 2 seconds off my best ever mountain bike time isn't bad at all.

PP - It's 5.6 miles, which is about 9kms I think.

Thanks all, it was nice that the wind eased enough to just get a bit of a whizz on. Now, if I could just get rid of the wind altogether....
