Thanks 540 and SLG. I have to say that I couldn't see any cameras. Bizarrely, it looks like a pile of gardening rubbish, which probably says a lot for the demographic around here.

Is the "No Tipping" sign equivalent to a US "No Dumping" sign? That is to say, it means "This is not the place to put your trash/rubbish"?

I was expecting something that had been pushed on it's side, as in the US "Cow Tipping" and "PortaPotty Tipping" refer to pushing the cow or or PortaPotty over and running away.

Wendle, thank you, there is a place only about two miles farther along the road :(

Lyzardly, thank you, in the UK a tip is another word for a dump - I suppose it's a place where big lorries tip out their loads, although the word and this usage is much older than that. I like the idea of tipping over cows or port-a-loos :D
