\(^ ^ ) My name is Yuba. I'm a 23 year old teacher and freelance translator living in Tokyo, Japan. Sometimes I model. Sometimes I sleep. A lot of the time, I take photos of what I'm about to eat. Yum yum yum!

Gore movie double bill in Shibuya!

Tonight was pretty awesome. I met up with some friends from Twitter who I'd never had the pleasure of hanging out with before. Ostensibly it was so we could go to a gore movie double billing later on this evening, but we had a few people with rather more delicate sensibilities, so we just had drinks with them beforehand.

The movies were "Vampire girl vs Frankenstein girl" and "Samurai Princess", both directed by the same guy; one of our number managed to successfully harass said guy as he went into the cinema by shouting "HEY, DO I KNOW YOU!?" at him until he realised it was the director. XD Thus a great bond of friendship was born!

Actually, there were only about 16 people in the cinema for the first film, and 5 of us for the second. Because there were so few of us, the director went out and bought us biscuits for our troubles and handed them out in between the films!

A couple of actors came along with the director from his various films - one of them is also a porn actress, and she was super-crazy. My first time meeting a porn star, I have to say!

Photo breakdown:

1. A promotional leaflet, signed by the director.
2 & 3 - Busts of Frankenstein girl and Vampire girl - the latter is a hand-puppet!
4. Delicious, free rusk, given to me by the director!
5. Our group, plus the director of the film and two of the actors from previous work.
6. While we were in Starbucks drinking and talking - having a merry old time - we got handed this note by an angry customer who thought we were having too much fun. Clearly.
