:) no as Rich says it is a small city but it is a lovely place so every bit of the stroll was good. When I first went there (early 70's it was because Alan had a job and his office was in Cathedral Close where the herb garden now is. I just loved the place and the more I saw of the city the more I liked it - I don't think I did skip but I felt as though I was. It was a Watney's beer desert then and only 2 places sold real ale - but the camra (campaign for real ales - for none uk folk) revolution was on its way and by the end of the decade the city was awash with real ales! We had some good Friday nights out in Norwich - not sure how we got home!
Beautiful shots - now that is somewhere I have always wanted to visit - and you have really whetted my appetite....
can only recommend it
thanks all for your comments
Oh my, Dave and I were in Norwich just a few days after you .... my first visit ... I loved it .... I do remember you saying that Alan worked in offices in Cathedral Close, how wonderful that must have been ..... I will now work back through your pics :)
