\(^ ^ ) My name is Yuba. I'm a 23 year old teacher and freelance translator living in Tokyo, Japan. Sometimes I model. Sometimes I sleep. A lot of the time, I take photos of what I'm about to eat. Yum yum yum!

I may be busy busy with my new job, but I found time on Monday evening to go out to dinner in Nishi-Azabu. I didn't order, so when they brought the food each dish was something of a surprise... But I hadn't been expecting raw organ meat.

As you might be, I was rather hesitant about trying it - at least when I didn't even know what part of the body of what animal each pile of goo came from! I know now that the far-left one came from a bird of some kind, the second-left is heart, and the far right is.. Liver, I think?

But I was encouraged to try, and it was all SURPRISINGLY DELICIOUS. I'm not sure if I should be pleased or disturbed. :(

(I love that I get to use the tags "yummy" and "gross" in the same post, though!)

I was completely fine. This is Japan - they know how to prepare raw meat and fish, and the restaurant was expensive. Don't worry!

I didn't put the name of the restaurant in the post, actually. :) Nishi-Azabu is just the area of Tokyo I was out in. I could ask if they deliver! Hahaha.
