I used to have a picture of one of hose African statues on my wall. Alarming.
they let you take photos in almost every museum but no flash. My son insisted I take his photo with his favourite art, and it was a lot. I thought you could do the same in Europe..
Swampy - I think the rules in the UK are very patchy. We took many photos in the natural history museum in London, but got shouted at in the town hall in Leeds.
You'll get chucked out of most of the big art galleries in London if you take pictures.
I think in North America, they just gave up on frisking people for their cell phones/cameras.
