A group distraction, presented by nige.
----------
The first instalment of Interview52 is now complete! It started on Friday 18th July 2008 and finished on 13th September 2009. A little later than expected, but we got there.
----------
52 mobloggers from around the world...
Some familiar, some not...
Each will publish a unique self-portrait, accompanied by a short interview.
Candid portrait meets candid interview.
The Rules
Every Friday the next interviewee in line will publish a new portrait and interview, consisting of their answers to the ten questions they have been given.
After they have published, the interviewee will then become the interviewer. They will be responsible for finding the next participant, as well as compiling the questions that this next person in line will answer. Interviewers can change as many or as few questions as they like, but they should change at least one before passing them on to the next lucky punter.
Thats it! Simple. More detailed instructions will be given to each interviewee as and when they are approached, so fear not.

Amazing stuff - i always miss it every friday, except for today, weirdly enough, but i love catching up on this group and dipping in and out of it when i'm on the train. It's very re-readable and quite often i have been inspired by interviewees responses.
Sad to see it go! Get some milk while you're out?
And chocolate biscuits....................the ones with the big choccie bits in :-)
Milk and biscuits coming up!
I've certainly been inspired by some of the responses too. Much like the photographs I see on here, it has given me a different way of seeing the world. Really great seeing such different takes on similar questions.
Although I only came in towards the end of this it's to be able to look back at interviews and get an idea of the person behind the name. It was an inspired idea, Nige.
Is that your handwriting in the photo, by the way?
AF, indeed, good question. I always have a little something up my sleeve.
Thanks cariadus. It is my handwriting, yes. Scruffy, huh?
I hope whatever hairbrained scheme you come up with next, it isn't one that sucks up too much of my time.
nige - thanks for interview52, it was great fun. and by the way, I don't even know what my handwriting looks like any more...
Hehe. billion, I'm glad people took to the project. I really had a lot of fun putting it out there, and getting Tori to take time out of her day is always a pleasure for me ; )
Craft, I always secretly hoped I would get asked, but no one thought of poor old nige : ( heheheheh
Well, I was wondering that too. I think it would be an appropriate conclusion. I'll even write the questions ...
I have to agree with Craft too nige... You must be interviewed!
If I had been interviewed I would have chosen you for the next one.. : )
Hehehehe! Noooo, not now. I didn't do this project for me anyway, I think it belongs to everyone in the community. Perhaps next go-around we'll get a chance, Twiglet ; )
I do appreciate the offer though, t ; )
Ahhh Nige I would have asked you - but then no one thought to ask me either.... I can't believe this has now gone - always the first thing I look for with my cup of coffee on a Saturday morning. Miss learning the reasons & thoughts behind the images & people.
There's life in this old dog yet, QSS. Looking at the list I think it is amazing how many people have not yet been asked. My intention at the start was to throw the questions at a relatively well-known blogger one week, and someone less known the following week. That's why I started with shitake, who really wasn't that known on the site at the time.
I couldn't afford the time to look for people every week; eventually I thought it better for me that the interviewee should pick the next person. It worked amazingly well, although I think the tendency is for people to pick folk that they already know to some extent. When we start to run out of people, that's when it will become even more interesting for me :)
...but you asked Spike instead. Yes, I got your first email, SLG!
mara ; )
I think every person who did an interview should get to ask one question and Nige should have to answer 52 of the damn things.
...and my next project is going to be based completely around Tori...
Still think you should do it nige. And I'd like to add that when it was my turn to choose someone even though my 2 best friends are mobloogers I didn't choose either of them...
