I heard about this on R4 one morning. Seems unlikely that there are people who are only able to understand rhyming slang. A bit gimmicky maybe, even Mockney?

There were some articles n stuff about these machines a while back - I can't remember if it's just a fun little joke or art of some sort. Amused us for 5 minutes though, so that's all that counts in my opinion ;-)

This was found in Commercial Street, about half way between Aldgate East and Spitalfields market. So if you're heading down that way for a day out, hold off on getting cash until you can enjoy the full fledged cockney cash experience :-)
