hahaha! they are brilliant.....so much humour in them all....but number 7 made me laugh out loud...looks like John Major...and the life guard ! LOL !!
Craft, I think AF deleted her comments, so you seem like a bit of a nut, talking to yourself, dirty boy!
Spiderbaby, cariadus, 'rose, Caine - thanks! It was great fun, especially how amped the kids were with the occasion.
My comments duly removed. Indeed it wouldn't do for anyone to think I'm a nut or a dirty boy... Oh no, no, no.
Also received email slapping..
Damn shame, I liked what was happening. And you should be the only one handing out slappings...
great
we have a scarecrow festival at Kettlewell
and I've never been!
I think you'd like it Viv. It was great just ambling around the streets of my single digit years and checking these things out. Some folk went to a great deal of effort, and most of the people who made the scarecrows were also available to speak with as they were chatting with passers by.
Very nice. Wolverton seems to do a few of these community events. Nige - as an ex res, do you think they still have a strong community ethos there?
Good question. Wolverton has changed so much since I lived there. It is much broader ethnically than it used to be, and so much artier now. There are quite a few groups in the area that are working with the aid of lottery funding to hold many more community events. I think it's really great and I'm even looking into moving there. Wolverton is great.
I misread that as Wolverhampton. I thought this was portraits of Essitam et al!
I just adore that this festival even exists!
Enchanted and disturbed in about equal measure.
