I love the Christon Cafe. I have to admit, I've only been to the one in Shibuya, but I prefer the look of it much more to the Shinjuku branch. I put my foot down today when we were making reservations, and I'm so glad we did! It's been a long time since I was there last. The food is delicious and the prices aren't so high, and the atmosphere and decorations are fantastic.
Christon Cafe is a religion-themed bar/restaurant. There are a lot of Christian icons around, but there's also a huge demonic creature looming out of the ceiling, just in case you were getting worried that it sounds too pious. I didn't take many interior photos, but you get the general gist!
Photo breakdown:
1. The chandelier above our table. Sofas. Sofa-table.
2 & 3. Menu time! And here we can choose between "Another pasta" and "Special meet". :D
4. Prawn and avocado salad in a wibbly plate.
5. Our drinks - on the left is a Dr.Jekyll & Mr.Hyde, and on the right is a Janne D'arc.
6. More drinks! These are "Brown Fruits". Basically chocolate, brandy, and cassis with a cinnamon stick.
7. Other MoBlog star DesertGarden sampling our pottage soup!
8. A "Mount" blanc dessert.
9. One of the virgin Mary statues was inside a confessional booth. Is that a tiara from Claire's Accessories she has there??
