Personal Favourites from my moblog

"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

I'm am so going to indulge with artisanal pasta - it's been a long time since I made a nice Fettucine Alfredo. Although in this case, it will be Linguine Alfredo. :D

wow - that arrived quickly!

Did Customs open it? If so did they follow my request and open it right-side-up?

Those chocolate chip and chilli biscuits were my all time favourite before the chemo turned my sense of taste

Joker, yes she is!

Dhamaka, thank you! No, customs didn't open it, but Rick saw your little note and left the box upside down on the counter so I'd see it. :) I opened up the chocolate & chilli biscuits after Rick got home tonight - we loved them!

it's not possible to eat just one, is it..

so now we know... delays are due to customs rather than postal systems ... isn't it strange that a personal note (and no formal declaration) works better than following the rules and filling in forms designed specifically for the purpose!

Caine says:

No. :D That's very interesting, your polite little note working so well. I wonder if it was because it was actually readable - those awful little customs forms, you have to write so small and cramped, I don't think they are readable after a short time. Or maybe they just enjoyed the novelty of it! :)
