They are hash browns which I assumed were an American import. Anything I don't remember eating as a child is an import!

But I like mushrooms! I also like the sound of tattie scone so I'd swap the fried bread and the hash browns for that... : )

OK, ditch the fried bread and the triangles allegedly containing potato and I'll pick the mushrooms of the plate......perfect!
