Only one photo today. I should have taken more.. We went to a restaurant on Friday night that specialises in Okinawan food and drink. I've had these before, but they are absolutely DELICIOUS! Their Japanese name is umibudou, literally "sea grapes". You can hopefully see why.
You dip them into the sauce and eat them cold, just like that. They're not squishy but they do pop when you chew them. Tastes a little salty, a little like soy-sauce, maybe a little citrusy. Really good, though. I want more!
