1. Coachmans Bridge - no going back for a while.
2. A tranquil diversion.
3. Weston branch Arm.
4. A sunset undisturbed.

Having left Coachmans Bridge on the Llangollen yesterday morning we arrived at the entrance to the Montgomery Canal in glorious sunshine to be met by the BW lock keeper who worked us down the staircase lock onto the Canal.

The last two weeks have been very changeable weatherwise with strong winds and heavy showers but fortunately not the prolonged rain storms being experienced elsewhere across the country.

This morning heralded the return of the wind and rain, but it is November after all. Going by the amount of water saturating the ground and filling the ditches, streams, brooks and rivers, maybe we should have followed Noah's plans and had an 'Ark' built!
