Got myself the static widget, the link works but it says:
var d=new Date();d=d.getDate();document.write(d);
above the lovely picture. Not sure if it's something I've done or if it's magic code. Looks like magic code to display the date somewhere? Might just be me, might need a little fix?

apparently (because it's an external widget) you need to add opening and closing tags to the front and end of the code
it should work - did for me :)
hope to set up a new link so that there are no adjustments to make

Did type in the tags you need to add but due to the fact that they are html they just disappear in the shown text!

Have changed the 'widget' link to a google document into which I have copied the codes for both html and flash widgets so should be fine now :)
Yep have just pasted them in the sidebar here no problems.
