Hamish is fairly chilled out about it all now, and getting quite good on crutches already.
Pity I didn't get a shot of the x-ray - looked like a perfect saltire. Impressed the ortho boys!

Din it into him to be careful on his crutches - I fell off mine & trashed the ankle on my good leg. My, how I laughed...
