well i've always been a bit of a magpie and my babysitter used to make rings in the local shop and I fell in love with everything in that shop! So I used to doodle and design things in my head when I was little and got increasingly frustrated with things I wanted that I couldn't find.

When my grandparents died I got a bit of money and I remember my gran telling me she wanted me to spend her money on something I'd remember her by. She was a bit of a magpie too and liked to hold my hand and rub my rings so I bought my first bits of silver with her money. I've not been doing it that long but I do enjoy it. I like making the boxes as much though!

mysocalled > yes a tiny bit of serendipity mixed with a bit of selection worked nicely with the ring wording :)

Thanks everyone!

hi beth... i am wearing this ring right now (and have done every day since it reached me via kelly :) i love it, thank you, it's brilliant. (i only just saw these photos for the first time today or i would have commented sooner)
i love the little walnut too.
last night i showed it to David Ford (Whose words you used on the ring) and he also thought it was wonderful :)
