How I love Paris.

Marons glacés, pâtes de fruit, the city, the bookshops, the cafés & snow... wish I was in Paris now.

No trains (strike AGAIN), impossible to ride/drive, FRENCH ppl everywhere... believe me, you don't !

Heh - there's always some part of the transport system en grève when I visit & it's still better than our public transport. The french people vont sans dire & anyway, it only takes a touch of Jane Birkin when speaking & most frenchmen become terribly sweet & helpful. ;)

Exactly. Start off speaking in French and you'll be right.

When in difficulty, the trick is to speak bad french, with an upper-class english accent & no apparent ability to recognise the gender of nouns. Not sure if it's the same for boys. ;)
