Dingli is a locality near the sea and is full of cultivated fields, but at
the same time stands imposingly high above sea level. The cliffs, for which
this village is renowned, reach a height of around 300metres, the highest
place in Malta.

Dingli is a small rural village with a population of around 3000 people. Our
school today has 4 kindergarten classes and 9 primary classes with a
population of 192 children and 31 staff members of which 8 are peripatetic
teachers.

At St.Nicholas Primary School we aim to develop all children in our care to
their full potential. We strongly believe in a holistic education and we
work hard to boost the children's self-esteem through various activities,
lessons and competitions.

The school has close links with the local church and the parish priest is a
frequent visitor in our school.

Mr Loukes (Fleetville Junior School) says:

To all the staff and children at St Nicholas Primary School - We are delighted to be part of this cluster and are looking forward to finding out a little more about your school. No doubt our schools will have much in common. It will also be interesting to find out how they are different.

Will (FJS) says:

In the fifth picture we can see two children 'turning the ground over'. We are guessing that this is to get it ready to plant seeds. What types of plants do you grow?
