I'm here because it's a place where I want to be.

What do I do with my life - still pondering that, keep exploring the possibilities I suppose...

I do have another more personal moblog Vivupclose

Take a look at my daughter Beth's website...

food for thought...

Everyone, in some small sacred sanctuary of the self, is nuts. -Leo Rosten, author (1908-1997)

We think caged birds sing, when indeed they cry. -John Webster, playwright (c. 1580-1634)

There are two kinds of light -- the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures. -James Thurber, writer and cartoonist (1894-1961)

The artist brings something into the world that didn't exist before, and he does it without destroying something else. -John Updike, writer (1932-2009)

Alan has the most wonderful seat on the second tier, opposite the directors' box and tunnel below!

Yes I enjoyed it. It is so bright and neat inside the stadium, under the floodlights, that it is almost unreal.

Sounds great, my dad was a city supporter and I am too, but don't ask me the names of all the players! I can remember a few -- especially when score the goals!! The last game against United was great - both sides played well. I was waiting for the 90 minutes to end, as City were winning and I didn't want it to change, then found they had to play another 5 mins

Yes it was a great game and on BBC too. I was in the house on my own and shouting at the box (Alan was at the match). The last 10-15 mins were tough. It's the return leg at Old Trafford on Wed - BBC again - going to be a real test of Mancini!

Do you come from Manchester then - that was my home until I went to college.
