Yes, yes people I have emerged from my self realised obscurity to bestow knowledge on all headz. Used ta be out and about now strictly lying low dispensing wisdom.
Too much going down to stay quiet, now all of us have to rise up and speak truth to power.

There has to be more to us than dhal roti and Nokia phones...

Been using Jolicloud on a net book that I brought last year. Seems to run ok with loads of web based apps to download.

Positives:

Runs fairly quick
Open source
Streamlined
Ok with external media/usb

Negatives:
Need to be online alot
Bit qlitchy but still a beta/alpha version
Loads of updates need installing

Interesting. I've been using ubuntu on mine, as a long time windows user I was a bit antsy about the switch to linux but it's really easy. Stuff like this I'm usually a bit of a late adopter just so all the brave people like you can have fun with the bugs first :D
