The Eye of the Wind

Apparently that's what they're calling it; the Eye of the Wind. Sounds a bit rubbish to me. This is the new windmill built on the top of Grouse mountain, and should not only power the entire resort, but feed into the national grid. Plus they'll probably make a killing for charging ludicrous amounts of money to go up the observation deck.

It is interesting reading about wind turbines and the planning applications. Do they look pleasant or not? Do they intefer with birds? Are they really green? etc
