"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience
Skating away, skating away, skating away
On the thin ice of the new day"

Thanks, Dhamaka. That's not ice in the 6th shot. It's a bit of the side of an old van. The paint is cracked and stained, and lichen is growing in the cracks.
gnarly ice does it for me too....there is beauty in winter, but I am sooooo looking forward to the beauty of spring / summer......
Are those buds on the tree shot? First sign of spring, maybe! Great set.
Thanks, JD. I like the van shot too. Odd how old, mostly invisible things can have a beauty of their own.
Thank you, Paintist, and oh, me too! I want dirt and flowers and sun and so much more.
Thanks, Rick. I don't think they are buds, they're present all year round. I get the wishful thinking though, I want Spring too.
