Dunraven Bay

Yes, I'm still here. Not fallen off a cliff or drowned in quicksand. Although the latter very nearly happened one day last week on the beach on a very low tide when I suddenly found myself up to my knees in mud and sinking fast - but that's another story. Just been ridiculously busy lately. I'll have to try to catch up with everyone soon.

Today Tim and I had a late afternoon visit to a beach about 10 miles round the coast. It's close to my mother's nursing home so we sometimes go there on the way back from visiting her.

Thanks, Caine. Hopefully no more sinking. There were exceptionally low tides last week and the mud was a long way below the usual low water mark. And thanks for the HL.

Facto, thanks, Mum is doing OK physically but memory wise she is going downhill. She does vaguely recognise me but I don't think she'd be able to say who I am.
