I just wanted practice with my icing gun, really.

No secret, really:

Cream cheese + cherry/vodka/sugar reduction/syrup + icing sugar

Butter infused with ginger/lemon peel beaten with icing sugar.

Deposit on cake via icing gun or bag with wide star nozzle. Dust with sprinkles (the pink/white ones above are from Waitrose, but most supermarkets have a good selection)
