Our family dog! Very much featured on moblog indeed... http://moblog.net/tag/benji
Ah! Viv's dog? It could be him.. My Boyf befriended this one while we were out and about. He really loves dogs and is always making friends with them. I doubt this is Benji though as we were very much south of Watford when I took this photo : )
Yep, Viv's my mother. Odd and very strange - did you find out what kind of dog this was as Benji is mixed between a Cairn and a Norfolk and I'm very confused by this other dog's cairnlike, but with the softer fur and the floppy ears.
My Boyf thought he was just an overweight Cairn Terrier, but we didn't ask his breed. Maybe he is Benji's brother! : )
We posted this for our friend whose little dog is poorly.. : (
He is very cairnlike but Cairns have pricked ears - this dog has the same kind of coat as benji too which is quite a lot softer than a normal brindle cairn. I am intrigued who this brother dog is :)
But above all - it's his likeness to a barrell that has got me!
I think this one's even more barrellike than Benj!
He is remarkably similar. I don't think there can be too many Norfolk/Cairn crosses though, as the Norfolks sell for so much more than Cairns and are generally in demand because they are relatively harder to find.
There was another person who posted pictures of a Cairn Shitzu cross that looked quite like Benji - but it wasn't this uncanny and the snout/nose was larger.
I hope your friend's dog feels better soon :/ and sorry for hijacking this post!
I don't mind you hijacking the post at all and you can be sure my friend won't mind : ) She will be on here later : )
I wish I could be more helpful about the little dog. My Boyf is always *talking* to strange dogs wherever we go!
I am still amazed by his uncanny resemblance. I'm wondering if Benji took himself off on a little holiday - don't know what would have attracted him to Watford though!
Sorry, I was confusing. When I mentioned Watford it was as a corruption of the expression North of Watford or North of the Watford Gap, as I know Viv lives in the North of England.
This fella was actually in Brighton on the South coast a town with the biggest gay population in England outside of London.
Is it possible that Benji could be gay at the weekends??? : )
Heh. It's entirely possible but I don't think he limits it to the weekend.
I'm going to Brighton at the start of next month. I'll look out for his shaggy other.
he tries it with the cats and yesterday he met a young old english sheepdog whomhe fancied - that was quite amusing!
Certainly sounds gay. My partner is always trying it on with cats.... ; - )
