The disposable I ripped the lenses out of shocked the crap out of me five or six times, but I think it's been worth it.

well worth it, my man. everyone should be doing this. obviously be careful with pointing a flash camera into your eye though, unless you're used to observing the sun with a telescope...

Wasn't the flash that was the problem -- it was the capacitor that hold the charge for the flash repeatedly dumping some of that massive voltage into my fingertips every now and then while I was trying to figure out how to hold the camera to rip the lenses off....

Heh. :) It's a close-up of a pterodactyl Stikfas toy merged with a nurse one -- that shape in the background is the pliers that came with the nurse, pinching the setting sun...
