We'll be moored here until Monday when we'll be making our way back to Anderton and the lift to take us back up to the Trent & Mersey Canal. The weather has been fantastic for the past two weeks as you can see from this view I took from the galley window today. Moored here reminds me of being on the Bow River in Calgary or the Potomac River in Washington DC, which must be something to do with my love of rivers.

A shame you couldn't take a fortnight really as there's a lot to see and do. You'll be pushing to get it done in a week (seven or five days?)without stepping off the boat. Are you planning on taking in the upper Peak Forest Canal too?

We will only be doing the ring due to the time constraints. We only have seven days as sadly time and money don't allow us to take longer.
