Gymnastic Success

(viewed 310 times)

After weeks of hard work with Miss Hutchinson, on Tuesday 27th April, Year 2
took part in the first East Riding inter-schools gymnastic competition,
organised by the School Sporting Partnership. Several other schools took
part in the competition, however they took their gymnastic teams. We were
the only school to take a class. So it was an even greater achievement when
one of our groups came home with medals! I was so proud of all the
children, as the routines certainly took some remembering! Even though many
of the children were very nervous about taking part they faced the challenge
and met it! Well done to you all A huge thank you to the adults
that accompanied us, Mrs Shelley, Mrs Bentley and Mrs Edwards (who certainly
enjoyed herself), as without you we could not have taken part. 2012
Olympics - here we come!
