I am a model. At the moment I am Marshal Ney from the Airfix Napoleonic Wars gift set..
We really do live in Skaro!

I thought it was great....what does Divine daughter think of the new doctor?
We all love the new Doctor and Amy too. Even I like the new Doctor and I am notoriously difficult to please when it comes to Time Lords. My favourite Doctor being Peter Davidson closely followed by the ninth Doctor, the wonderful Christopher Ecclestone.
I suppose I will now be beaten to death by outraged Worzel Gummidge fans : )
I'm with taniwha on this.As an old git who remembers the 60s Doctors and a relatively recent (re-) convert, I like the new Doc and his previous incarnation.Dr.Nine was to my mind rather detached and Davidson just too nice.
When Peter Davidson was the Doctor I was in my 20s... I also fancied him as Tristan Farnham in *All creatures grunt and smell* and as someone else in *A very peculiar practice*. It wasn't actually about his acting abilities or his suitability as The Doctor. I thought he was cute OK?
Dr Nine was brilliant! Much better than Dr Ten who I could never really believe in. Is there something wrong with the Dr being a bit detached anyway? I think Ten was too touchy feely and lovey dovey... He made the programme too girly.
Backs off rapidly--I didn't realise it was a crush-thing, I loved Tristan (& Robert Hardy)too, in the vet thing. I have fond memories of watching it on a Sunday evening with you & the family. Nothing wrong with Ecclestone's detachment, I liked Dr Ten's vulnerability, that's all. Sorry :(
I hadn't really thought about Eccleston's detachment but you are probably right. He also seemed to exemplify something that the latter two have continued - a love of adventure. These Doctors are swashbuckling types.
The latest Doctor is fab definitely but I do think he's a little bit too impressed with himself as 'The Mighty Doctor', 'the protector of earth', 'the thing you never, ever put in a trap'. He's coming across a bit like a footballer really ...
... that said, dig the sexual frisson though between him and the assistant. Could start a bow tie revival.
Hmmmm... I know what you're saying about Dr Eleven taniwha and you really should see Dazzle_Dust's impression of him. Side splitting in the extreme!
As for the UST, I'm not sure about it in family viewing. I preferred Donna who didn't seem to have any interest in the interior of the Doctor's pants. : )
