if you pick your moment, there are streets in glasgow where these folk (or worse) are in the majority.

They just make people watching more interesting. Red cape and angel wings in top shot look like they're havin' a lot o' fun!

A few years ago I kept seeing women wearing these veily things on their head and was convinced that this was a new fashion. Then someone pointed out to me that these was probably a hen night. So yeah, we get 'em a bit too.
