The smell was though, it had permeated the car nicely.
The cats didn't get bitten as far as I can see. Wondering if I am more annoyed with them or the skunk. One of them is getting a bath tonight - should be fun

Good luck with the bath! Skunk stink is awful to get rid of, one of my dogs used to be convinced that skunks were cats, we had black and white cats at home. Every friggin' time we were out at this one area, he find a skunk and stick his nose in it's arse, with predictable results.
