"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience
Skating away, skating away, skating away
On the thin ice of the new day"

Caine, this is simply brilliant set! Faved all. :) And I love these colours.
Thanks, Shitake!
Taniwha, it's very interesting to watch, and I agree fully that's it's not a good way to die.
Oh my word.
And the spider really looks like that? With those neon blue legs? (Or is that 'a trick of the light', as it were? :-D)
MrFire, yes, the spider really looks like that, with those beautiful blue legs. Orb Weavers come in such great varieties, they're my fave class of spiders.
Sorry, Wendle, I should have attached an arachnophobe warning!
Becky, I will be deleting your comment. I do not care to hear your self-defense and you are not welcome on my moblog. I have not, as yet, taken the steps to ban you here, but I will, so please, don't push the issue.
For what it's worth, I'm sorry you're taking your descent into the dungeon so hard, but you brought that on yourself. Good luck with your life, whatever that entails. Goodbye.
These are really surreal pictures. I've never seen a spider that looked like that before.
Fair enough, Caine. Sorry to Angel, and yourself, for the 'Angel, I hate you' message that I left a few weeks ago. I didn't leave any messages on Jeffry D's blog, though.
Anyway, best of luck to you, too and (in this instance, at least:) I'm going to agree with everyone else here about the excellent photos on your site.
Thank you, Becky.
Thanks, Shala. I suppose they are surreal in a way. I love watching spiders.
