What I like about these is that I'm imagining Japan is all crowds and neon and rain and you show me space and green and street music. Looks a bit like Milton Keynes really.

taniwha - yep, I think most people think that, but its's full of lovely contrasts. Busy neon streets, then zen like parks and gardens with no noise, just dragonflies and birds. Just lovely. I don't think I'll ever tire of Japan! As for the rain - their only rainy season occurs really is June. Bladerunner has probably caused that opinion methinks! ;)

Your comment reminds me a little of how I found Bangkok - sure there were crowds and pollution and noise and hassling market sellers but it's a special city for those little oases of calm hidden (and not so hidden) in corners.
