Role Models by John Waters, an excellent read. Entertaining as only Waters can be.
A Dark Matter by Peter Straub, disappointing. Thin plot, too mystical-woo and bogged down by minutia.
Paul Is Undead by Alan Goldsher, just started this, it's a delight.
The Monster in the Box by Ruth Rendell, classic Rendell and a good read.
The Whisperers by John Connolly, I'm a fan, but this was a silly mess.
Fever Dream by Preston & Child, a Pendergast book, but I wasn't terribly impressed. I keep waiting for something as good as The Cabinet of Curiosities.
The Red Queen by Matt Ridley, I haven't read this yet but am really looking forward to it.
The Greatest Show on Earth by Richard Dawkins, what's not to love? I haven't read this yet either, but am looking forward to it.
