First saw “lift Em foot up” on an old car bonnet on a sharp turn on unsealed track in the Northern Territory Australia, then another car bonnet after the turn with ‘put em down now’ .. chagrined to this day I didn’t get photos.. indigenous road signage much appreciated and never forgotten .. over 20 years ago not far from Ayres Rock.
