I'm here because it's a place where I want to be.

What do I do with my life - still pondering that, keep exploring the possibilities I suppose...

I do have another more personal moblog Vivupclose

Take a look at my daughter Beth's website...

There are two kinds of light -- the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures. -James Thurber, writer and cartoonist (1894-1961)

Beautiful. Are you using the stove much yet?

Viv says:

Thanks Gael. We have been lighting it most nights recently. Ticks over very well and heats the water. Haven't had it working hard enough to make the central heating work for long yet. Seems to be very efficient - very happy so far.
Still got things to do - choose material for blinds & cushions, pictures to hang, reframe -It is very calm, now needs some colour - but very happy with it. Hangs together as a room now - decluttered more space and love the new window so much better than the old one. Painting the stripped wood was a difficult decision but am pleased with the result.

I must say that all the rooms look twice as big as I rememeber from my all be it very brief visit.
I know it's been hard work but you must be thrilled. Now sit back and enjoy it, the soft furnishings, etc are the fun bit, no hurry

THIS is what you've been doing! I had to look carefully and think to understand where I was as it is so changed. It's lovely, really lovely.

Hope you can relax now.
