for earthlad, what happens to trucks in Toronto

I was surprised to learn from Earthlad that in Bristol, epicentre of public art, that trucks were not targeted for 'improvement'. The trucks here, and many around the city look like this. Some owners have given up fighting it and ask for a team to just 'do' the truck. Once there is a known piece, chances are, it won't even be tagged.

These look pretty cool. I'm surprised at this. I've hardly ever seen this here.

Aw. I quite like the pink one. Not sure I'd be so happy if it was my truck though.

The trucks get tagged--you have tagging, right? and one way of making sure your truck gets more or less left alone is to have a single big graff piece on it, which is respected by the taggers and left alone..so more and more trucks are turning up with more and more complicated pieces on them..it's a defensive move by the truck owner sometimes.
