Panic Buying

And here we have a demonstration of the power of the media. They tell us to stop panic buying as fuel supplies are dangerously low at most forecourts. An hour later the lines form as people ... well ... start to panic buy.

The same thing happened here after Katrina hit.... People were remembering LAST year when the hurricanes battered the Orlando area and they bought until the local stations all ran out of gas. Prices are up, in part because the stations have had to ship in gas from out of state.

Either that or I'm going to deliberately misunderstand the term and buy a normal amount of petrol whilst screaming and running in circles.

do it mat,, ill do it too in newark, people will join us and just panic while buying normal ammounts of petrol.. it may just work!!

Almost $3 here (Las Vegas). It took one day for the prices to shoot up, but it will take months for it to go down to levels before Katrina

I need a Hybrid car...or better yet, a mas transit train system.
