My mother died 4 years ago today.

The snowdrops aren't the first I have seen this year but these were on the side of the road today and I had the camera in my pocket : )

Thanks Cris, thanks Annie. I think when Thomas wrote those words they were meant romantically. But for me they describe so eloquently the sense of loss in bereavement. x

Of course we have snowdrops, this is the soft south. I've also seen a few catkins and pussy willow but ZOMG! it was cold walking last week...
